I have posed this in other n/g but could not find what I am looking for.
I want to install some 12 volt lighting in my home but instead of adding
wall plates and switches everywhere, I would like to find a remote way of
turning them on and off.
Something that has a remote (like a tv remote or keychain remote) that
could turn them on or off.
I can either have one multi-controller (that controls everything) or
separate ones as long as it can handle many channels.
It would also be nice if it has the option of adding a channel that can
turn on/off an inverter or two. (it would save me from making a low amp
circuit to high amp with relays and the like.)
Does anyone know where such a beast can be found?

There is an excellent 12 volt dc group at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/12VDC_Power/ filled with ham guys that
would love to design such a circuit for you.
