Hi guys,
In Europe the place to get your solar panels is Germany. One can get a
120W Kyocera for 5e / watt (19% VAT included). Here in Finland the
price can be as high as 10e / watt.
What is the price range in the US right now? Would it be cheaper to
get you panels from there (taking into account the current exchange
rate 1.45)?

I recently had 14 Sharp ND-200U1 panels installed and was charged $15,214.80
for the hardware by the contractor. The Wptc for these panels is estimated
at 176 watts, so that would work out to about $6.17 per watt. I would
speculate that these could be found cheaper, since I essentially paid retail
and I'm sure that my installer took their cut. (Location: Northern
California). With the favorable exchange rate for the Euro, you might be
able to get a pretty good deal unless shipping and duties are high.

This place has some links, and they're real:

However, I think this only covers vendors who subscribe to their
service.
If one shops, one can sometimes find slightly better deals, but the
above will give you an idea.
