I'm working to reduce my electric usage, and this site is helpful, but I
don't know how to translate it.

Thanks!

Um, no. I'm just a typical urban apartment dweller. No car, no dishwasher,
no lawn, no TV/cable/vcr, no a/c.
Very happy, and very simple. :-)

Hmmm, Well if you have no Utilities other than the Computer then I'd say
cut back your surfing habits.
Just kidding.
You need a power budget list. List all appliances and what their power
rating is and how long you run them.
Sort of Like...
Device Watts Hours/day Total (Watt x hours/day)
Then find out what you can do with out. Or what you can change.
Cheers

are CFLs better than standard fluros for
a) light production?
b) running on PV (direct or inverter)?
