Or ...  pennies, and not dollars.

I just saw an article in the local paper about solar panels being used to
power sewage pumping stations in our area.

The sewage is pumped to "The Geysers", the largest geothermal energy
production area in the world, and injected into hot rocks, generating
steam, producnig electrical energy.

The pumping plants are solar powered, and Calpine facilites have solar
panels on the roof.

That reminds me of the question about PV panel manufacturers not using
solar to provide energy for their own manufacturing facilites.
