OK controller. Not MPPT but otherwise ok. Crap load and system
management. These guys are doing translation work in a remote
community and have heavy reliance on computers. However, the
organisation struggles with the diesel bill and keep reducing the
daily running time. That puts more demand on the solar side and
requires increased battery capacity. Of course, language translators
aren't the kind of people to realise that so they only raise the issue
after the batteries have been replaced repeatedly because they got
flogged to death, they're living without a fridge and cooking by
candle light. Romantic, NOT!

In your model, have you entered the dispatch strategy in accordance with
the actual use of the diesel?

Yep - two hrs a day, five days a week. Makes a pretty colourful
schedule display. They work at least 6 days a week, often 7. That
stretches the battery capacity requirement somewhat.
