Lots of examples here http://www.redrok.com/electron.htm#led3x .
Probably the most popular method is to convert a surplus C band
satellite dish mount, and add one of the Red Rock tracker controllers.
Here's a photo of another converted dish mount
http://www.citlink.net/~wmbjk/images/trackers/homemadelinear.jpg , with
a solid bar in place of the actuator, since that particular array was
too large for the mount without further mods.
This scratch-built version has worked well
http://www.citlink.net/~wmbjk/tracker.htm . One of the main objectives
was to get the pivots as close as possible to the array's CG .
