Hey gang,
I'm looking for a legitimate scientist working on solar panel improvement to
discuss an idea I have on how to possibly increase their functionality on a
grand scale. Serious replies only PLEASE!
Thanks in advance

Serious? / Internet? That's an oxymoron isn't it?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by increasing their functionality?
I presume this means that they will function in a wider range of
conditions, or that besides generating electricity, they have other
functions as well, like water heating etc. However if you are talking
about increasing their efficiency, then by all means, float the idea
and perhaps you will attract some interested scientist.
I am afraid you don't have the luxury of being too coy. Don't worry -
you can float it here without fear of ridicule. Right, guys?

Well what I was thinking was - instead of using mirrors to focus the sun,
could you use tons of tiny magnifying glasses focused over the panels to
increase the heat level and possibly the energy level -- similar to a DLP
Television?
