I have a some what simple question. I am not sure if this is even
possible but I have been trying to think of ways to save a little
money as well as do my part to help the environment. So I have been
thinking if there was some way that I could take some devices from the
power supplied through my home...Maybe that could save a bit. So just
to use an example, I have a 2 story shed on my property and I would
like to use it has a work space. There is already power running to it.
I am looking for information and advice on how to take on such a
project. Any information will be helpful.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

I have no idea what you are asking.  What do you mean by "...take some
devices from the power supplied through my home..."

Do you mean, you want to remove some devices from the present AC
outlets, and power them with solar, instead?

For small scale power, this usually doesn't save any money, and even
if you plan to power a substantial part of your house with solar, it
generally takes years to pay back.  But it's a cool thing to do,
either way, and could help the environment a little.  The people that
read this group can help you design something if you post a list of
the kind of things you want to power with solar.  But again, start
with low expectations for saving money.

Your best chance of saving money, and helping the environment, is to
insulate the shed heavily so you won't have to heat or cool it much,
and also shop for efficient appliances.  Of course, this route is not
as fun.
