Would anyone know the communication protocols for the serial ports on PV
powered inverters? Specifically for a 3200 and a 2000. The software on
there website is for older models and it's Windows. I would prefer to use a
less power-hungry computer for monitoring anyway and write my own code.
Thanks, SC

You give us the model number and we get to guess the manufacturer? Is
there a prize for a correct answer? How about gator clip onto the rx
and tx lines and buffer capture some traffic and look at it with eyes
and brain and try to see patterns.... might be simple!

OK OK... title says PV Powered, but text of question says PV powered
and doesnt say brand, so I got confused. Reminds me of the last time I
made a mistake... when I thought I was wrong but I wasn't. If you
buffer capture the session and post it, I'll take a stab at
interpreting it.
