Hi,
I have been designing Solar Power System for industrial applications,
mainly Telecom and Oil field applications.
I am looking for an Alarm monitoring system which can be interfaced
with charge controller of the system. The system can give the following
alarms:
1. Battery High Voltage,
2. Battery Low Voltage
3. Solar Array failure
4. Charge Controller failure
The above mentioned alarms can be seen through a laptop via RS 232
port. More over these alarms can be monitored by a remote computer via
modem.
Please let me know if anybody knows the availability of such system.
Regards.

Try calling Dan Pringle at
Digital Solar
303-442-6553
They have offered solar controllers with these features.

Hi Bill,
Thank you for your comments. I purchase controller from Dan's DST. But
I want to separate the controller battery management function from the
alarm monitoring function. Sometimes for these facilities, I am forced
to buy very expensive controller like MPR from DST.
If I have a separate alarm monitoring system, I can use any controller
and make compatible with it. I think separate alarm monitoring system
can be made which is compatible to normal charge controller.
For a small system, I do not see any reason to buy very expensive
controller from DST.
Regards.

this system dont need modem it is over air.
I am using this(TX3600) for 3-4 years for remote teperature measuring
and tief alarm.
it has analog inputs so you can switch anithing you want.
my friend has developed this system in australia.
