Clarke Energy Training presents a public Advanced Workshop on
Renewable Energy Investment Analysis using RETScreen on 6-7 April 2010
at the Barbados Hilton, Barbados.
This event is sponsored in part by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), a
Federal Agency of the Government of Canada and delivered independently
by Clarke.

You are invited to register by sending us an email requesting an
application form.

RETScreen is a powerful clean energy project analysis spreadsheet
software developed by NRCan. It is widely used having been downloaded
free of cost from the RETScreen website by more than 215,000 users in
222 countries and territories, and is available in 35 languages.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to build
investment quality decision making models for photovoltaics, wind,
biogas, hydro, and combined heat and power (CHP/Cogen) projects.

Participants will learn about the analytical methods employed by the
recent RETScreen Version 4, together with its databases concerning
NASA renewable energy resources, products and suppliers, and UNFCCC
carbon baselines. Analysis methods include energy systems, financial
(NPV, ROR, IRR, DSCR, etc), economic, risk and sensitivity, greenhouse
gas (GHG) analysis.

While the workshop will focus on imparting hands-on skills on the use
of RETScreen, participants will also gain insights that will enable
their self-learning about the engineering principles and algorithms
behind the models.

This workshop is suitable for those involved in renewable energy
credit/certificate (REC) analysis, carbon trading, investment due
diligence, feasibility analysis, project finance, economics,
infrastructure finance, business development, project development,
venture capital, private equity, banking, family offices etc.

The instructor is Dr. Roland Clarke who recently conducted in-house
workshops for the World Bank in Washington DC,  Hanoi - Vietnam,
Beijing - China, Manila - the Philippines and Jakarta - Indonesia.
