Why not provide some quotes of anyone claiming that wind and solar are
a universal panacea? As if nobody can guess the reason you prefer

Insulation and related methods of reducing power usage are CHEAP. These are the
areas that deserve first attention. ANY person with a decent brain will see this.

If you reduce your power usage you will benefit in every way possible.
