I saw somewhere that someone had a prius that they used there solar panels
to charge the batteries in the car?
It seems to me that there would be all kinds of problems in doing this
because the engine in the car would cut in to charge the battery bank etc.
Has anyone tryed this?
What voltage are the batteries?
Thanks
Joe

55mpg, 10% improvement, so about 5mpg increase. $2.00 / gallon gasoline,
payback in 5487.5 miles?

No way are they getting 10% improvement. Not from 30 watts watts of
solar panels.

Manufacturer Rated Output Current: 30 watts (2 panels)
Hmmm, 30 watts of current.
