Hi all.
I got a trace sw3024 model inverter charger and i've got a weird
problem with it in that when it's hooked to the generator, it won't
draw any power from it to charge the batteries. The green 'AC in 2'
light is constant, the voltage is steady and within rangem but the
'bulk' light does not come on at all.
So what I did was to cut the power cable out of the inverter and plug
that directly into another socket of the generator and kept the AC in
to the generator.
I.e It used to go generator>inverter>house and now there's a split.
Generator>house
Generator>inverter
Ok..so the weird thing is that when it's in the second configuration
(where the generator is independently powering the house) the inverter
charges the battery, but not in the first.
This problem only started the other day. The charger does work fine,
the inverter works fine but something has changed and I don't know
what.
Anyone think they can shed any light

What makes you think he was using an inverter to invert AC into AC?

And what makes the Dumbfuck Ron thinks it's so big deal about it? It's
just a big inverter, same theory:
http://www.nextag.com/trace-inverter/search-html . So you can try to be Big
again but you won't be able to cause you're falling in all
aspects....Heehee..........

hehehe. I guess when you revert to namecalling, it means you really can't
answer the question.

Obviously, you have never dealt with a Trace SW Series Inverter/Charger,
and so any reply from you, just shows what a Morooooon, (Bugs Bunny
definition) you really are. Best you go scurry back under your rock,
and come out only to insult SolarFart, and that other idiot.....
