Take some of the aluminum foil you use to make your anti-spy helmets
from and paste it on cardboard which you place in the windows. Cheap.
Where do you think these reflective blinds are going to reflect the heat
to? You need to stop the heat before it enters the house. Shutters.

I think your first suggestion may well work if he opens the bloody
windows...

Nooo...the light goes through a frequency shift on its way in and can't be
reflected back out so simply.
