Is there a reason why I cannot get most of Nick's articles
lately?
When I click on to them, I get an error message stating
" no such article "
Any ideas ?

I've noticed that somebody's cancelling articles.

When or if we find out who that is, they may lose their isp.

It's one thing, to disagree with your views, but quite another,
to dissallow them.

And lose big in a lawsuit. I suspect Steve Scott and Paul Milligan.

Ah, but that is the difference between a 'moderated' group and an
'unmoderated' one.  Generally, the moderator's of a 'moderated group' *do*
have the right to delete messages.  Although "it's a free country", not all
newsgroups are free.

Usually, the moderator's delete messages that are way off the mark, grossly
inflamatory or libelous.  Or if you just pi** them off bad enough.  If the
moderator's of a group are too flagerant, then folks just find someplace
else to meet and chat.  Of course, if they don't excersize *some* degree of
moderating, then you see a lot of unrelated spam, for-sale posts, and other
off-topic stuff.

Depending on their relation with the news server owner (sometimes the
moderator *is* the news server in specialty forums), there may be no legal
remedy other than to go post elsewhere.  A news server such as google is not
*required* to carry any particular person's content.  Not like equal-air
time on public access channels (yet).
