There are some nasty evil spammers here. They seem to get fun out of
polluting a non-commercial newsgroup with their spam. Some folks are
going to call these spammers what they are and be nasty right back.

Sheesh, when you answered your own post under a pseudonym, what did
You could have just said that your company offers solar equipment in
the UK. Perhaps you would have been called a spammer, perhaps not, but
you wouldn't have been called out.
We're not dummies here.

There're nasty people everywhere, but what you're experiencing isn't
nastiness - it's the impatience with people who attempt deception
and/or won't learn and/or won't offer useful information.
I'd suggest you re-think your introductory approach and, if you have
information to share, share it with the group - you'll find the result
much more satisfying.
This is not a forum in which you need to hide the fact that you offer
a product. There are a number of people here who sell what they make -
panels, sensors, you name it - and everyone benefits from discussions.
Advancement of solar technology need not be a "zero-sum game" -
especially not here.
