I have a brand new solar parabolic mirror system looking for an
application. It consists of a large aluminum frame on a moveable
track and 78 parabolic solar mirrors 15" x 21" each. It was
manufactured in Bern, Switzerland and still in the original wood
crates. The base is 20' long. I would like to find an application
for it or possibly sell it.
Could anyone tell me how these systems are utilized.

For a good idea of the possibilities of using a multi mirror array to run a
stirling engine see
the August Discover issue, page 52 where you will find an interesting
article on the Idealab effort
to commercialize a low cost 250Watt multimirror array and stirling engine
generator.
