Performance evaluation of the units and equipment of a gas plant

 Hi,
I am a chemical and process engineering student, I have to evaluate in
my search the performance of an existing natural gas plant, I am
trying to find equations that must be key indicators for the
evaluation of the performance of unit and equipment of gas plant such
as energy consumption, capacity, efficiency..

I don't find documents and i can't evaluate the performance of tower:
absorption or distillation

Please, help me how may I  evaluate the performance of an existing
tower, column in condensate stabilization unit, acid gas
removal, dehydration...


I am a student and I shall not buy articles talking about, please help
me
