If you want to get technical about it so is corn by the same way of
thinking but I think the general convention is if your getting the
energy from a "sun" than the energy is called solar and people don't
think of deadly radiation & bombs when they say solar.

Dictionary.   solar: 1. Of, relating to, or proceeding from the sun:
solar rays; solar physics. 2. Using or operated by energy derived from
the sun: a solar heating system. 3. Determined or measured in reference
to the sun: the solar year.

I missed where it said nuclear in there, didn't you?

You can build all the nuclear power stations you want, as long as they
are 83m miles away.

In newspapers and magazines around the world, articles are appearing
suggesting a need for new nuclear power stations and glossing over the
many problems with nuclear power
(www.mng.org.uk/green_house/no_nukes.htm). If you would like to help
with an easy-to-do online campaign to correct some of the misleading
information that is being spread, and to raise awareness of a major
alternative to nuclear power, please go to
www.mng.org.uk/green_house/cspnn.htm.

PLEASE SEND THIS MESSAGE TO OTHER PEOPLE WHO MAY LIKE TO HELP.
