I think the traxel design looks good. The folks at redrok have some circuits
and Gary from Builitsolar might have some ideas too.

just a idea , would a satellite dish polor mount be any good for this i know
u wouldnt get the elevation tracking so much but you get the az

Works fine for a panel (or dish) the size of a satellite dish.

A very good idea. Many of my customers use these
dish mounts with their PV panel projects.
They are well built and most of the hardware is
already there including the motors.

Actually no they are not moved in AZimuth. The main
tracking axis is polar so the movement is called RA,
or Right Ascension. You could add a secondary DEC,
or DEClination, axis but is's generally not needed
for PV panels.
