Dear all,

I am in the DR and we have today solar heating (chinese evacuated tube mode
l) with electrical boost and reticulation of hot water in the whole house.

Problem today is that all recirc pipes are uninsulated so all solar energy
is lost basically. When I turn or recirc I get lots of hot water but when i
t is on, I need electric assist to get proper hot water.

We are now installing a LP hot water boiler (50 gallons) from the American
brand. I wanted to keep use of the already installed solar panel. My thinki
ng is to let the recirc pass trough the solar panel and take out available
heat before being returned to gas heater.

Is this a good way to do it? Or should I get a LG gas heat with a separate
heat exchanger and circulate the solar panel water into this?
