Anyone know who sells these in Australia ?

(Slightly off-topic, but thought someone on this group might know
since its related to increasing the efficiency of stored heat).

Thanks,
Anthony.

I Have been thinking about making one myself, but have not done it
yet. Thinking of placing some mineral wool inside some plastic sheets
(I have a roll of plastic I may use.), and iron it shut at the ends.

This will not be like a "jacket" but more like broad strips, aprox 60
cm wide.  If you choose this DIY solution, do not cut the mineral wool
exept at the end. If it doesnt fit the plastic you have got, get some
other plastic. Dust from mineral wool can be quite unplessant.

We have some readers from NZ who may weigh in.

I cut and taped together some fiberglass batts, and that worked for me.
If I had it to do over I might have either used polyisocyanurate sheets
or made a box around the heater (using the polyiso) and filled it with
cellulous. I haven't noticed any sweating yet.

Those may be too funky for your needs.
