 The "exact difference" for any application depends on many variables.
You have to run some kind of time domain simulation to get these
numbers eg. TRANSYS or an Excel Spread Sheet with weather data and the
second order efficiency curve data for the given colelctors. What you
shouldn't do is compare efficiencies at 1KW/m^2 as this is not where
the collectors spend their useful time. In my experience doing a
comparison at 400W/m^2 gets you almost all of the way there.
