I have been considering a solor hot water system for my house. I
probably use alot of hot water as we have four people in the house, do
alot of laundry, and run the dishwasher daily.

I live in eastern washington state so I get LOTS of sunshine most of
the year but i also get freezing weather in the winter. From what I've
read that means I would need an evacuated tube collector.

My hot water heater is on the 2nd floor of my house. On the outside of
the wall it sits next to is my patio cover facing west. So it would be
in direct sunlight from noon until roughly dark. So I'm thinking about
a simple system that would circulate and suplement the electric hot
water tank. Is this a feasable idea?

I'm not handy in the slightest so I'm looking to buy a system and have
it installed. I would appreciate any advice or information.
