Tesla Roadster 100 – my dream car had arrived!

Well, not on my driveway, not yet anyways. However, I am excited to watch the development of this car ever since I first saw the ad in Popular Science about half a year ago. It looks great and it packs some pure power (pun intended). Here is what they’ve got:

Thanks for the folks at greenthinkers.org for the link to Tesla Motor’s official website. Up until today I though this is still some one-of-a-kind high-tech garage contraption but now I realize that they may be more ready for primetime than I thought (hence the title of this post). Estimated delivery of a car you make a $50,000 downpayment for is February 2008. I certainly hope to see the car on an autoshow in my area before that time.
